Profanity Description

Profanity is an open source command-line XMPP client application inspired by Irssi and written in C, using the libstrophe and ncurses libraries. Profanity supports most XMPP chat services, including Facebook and GTalk, it features desktop notifications, chat logging, private messaging and chat rooms, flexible priority and resource settings, full Unicode support, and the ability to send tiny URLs.
