Polari is an open source and totally free graphical software written in GTK+ and designed to act as an easy-to-use and not complicated IRC (Internet Relay Chat) client for the GNOME desktop environment. Polari will allow users to join IRC channels, talk in chat rooms, save history, clearly identify "mentions," easy access to history, ability to remember last used rooms, sensible list of networks, and the ability to detect HTTP(S) links posted in a room and display them. Moreover, Polari features support for saving or sending transcripts, native GNOME 3 notifications, file transfers, support for more than 20 rooms, private chats, as well as integration with PasteBin and Bugzilla.
