The interface is clean and pretty intuitive, based on a single window where you can import MP3s into the working environment using the file browser. Unfortunately, batch processing is not supported in the unregistered edition, so you can convert only one track at once. The list shows the name, size and duration, along with the start, end and cut time of the MP3 file. The simplest way to proceed with the conversion procedure is by specifying the output format and directory. Advanced users can tinker with several settings. Previewing the song in the built-in audio player gives you the possibility of cropping a 10-second portion by marking the start and end position. In addition, you can select a preset profile based on preferred quality (from Low to Superb), or create your own one by selecting the bit rate, volume level, sample rate and channel mode. It is possible to build as many profiles as you want. Last but not least, iWellsoft MP3 To Ringtone Converter can be set to open the output directory or turn off the computer automatically on task completion. The application is very light on the system resources, using a minimal quantity of CPU and RAM. It has a good response time and carries out conversion jobs rapidly and error-free, delivering quality tracks. No error dialogs have been shown throughout our evaluation and the app did not hang or crash.
