Run In Tray Description
Minimizes another program to the system tray Do you have a program that you would like to have running for extended periods of time, but don't want it to take up task bar space, and that program doesn't have a "minimize to the tray" feature? Run In Tray will solve that problem for you. Run In Tray will work with most Windows and DOS based programs. For example, Outlook Express might be a program you would like to have minimized to the system tray. Or maybe a DOS based web server. This is how it works... Run in Tray, runs a program. When Run in Tray is minimized, it hides the other program's windows and places the program's icon in the system tray, or "Notification Area". To restore the "hidden" program, just double click its icon in the system tray. There is an option to "Autorun minimized" to the system tray. Set this if you want to automatically launch the other program and minimize it to the system tray when Run In Tray runs. This is especially useful if launched from the startup folder. To run multiple instances of this program, make a copy of RunInTray.exe and name the copy something like "RunInTray2.exe" or "RunInTray3.exe", etc. Requires Windows 98 or above.
