QuickProxy Description

Quickproxy creates a statusbar button to turn the proxy on and off with a single click. This switches Firefox between the different proxy states that you have selected, which are configured through the Firefox preferences, and the type of proxy that is turned on/off is configured through the QuickProxy preferences window. Also, keep in mind that this extension will not offer you a proxy server. There are no major features that will be added to this. It is designed to do only what it needs to to switch between a proxy and a normal connection. I've received numerous comments on this that compare QuickProxy to other full fledged proxy management extensions, which QuickProxy is in no way meant to replace. This extension is designed to change the method that people need to use to swap between a pre-defined proxy, and a normal connection to the internet. It isn't designed (and will never be) to completely manage the proxy setup including which proxy server(s) are used, or when they are used. This is meant to complement Firefox's default proxy settings, and just allow users to turn this on or off without having to go through the preferences menu's of Firefox each time.
