There are numerous browsers out there, but if you are still looking for the one that would satisfy your requirement or you simply like to play around with new apps once in a while, you can try QBrowser. It is a tiny application that help you explore your preferred websites in tabs that you can also access from a panel in the right side of the application. The overall feel of the main window is intuitive and neatly organized, as it enables users to effortlessly access new pages. Most of its options could remind you of Internet Explorer in its early stages, as menus and submenus are quite similar: you can open a new tab, close it, save it as MHT, HTML or TXT, as well as print the current page. The bookmarks are imported from Internet Explorer, so you no longer need to manually import them. However, it does come with a feature called ‘Design Mode’ that allows you to modify the look of the website you are currently visiting, then save the design as a separate project. You can also send the current website to the security zone you choose, either Trusted Sites or Local Intranet. The actual strength of QBrowser lies in its scripting possibilities, as you can not only load HTML documents, but also analyze and modify them via the Scripting interface. Depending on your programming skills, you can use the interface with any language supported by Windows Scripting Host, such as JavaScript, Perl or VBScript. All in all, QBrowser might seem like a simple browser to the inexperienced users, but developers are the ones who can make the most of its functions once they start digging deeper in its functions.
