Digital Notes allows you to create notes on web pages and share them with your friends. You and your friends can discuss the contents of a page within the page itself - all on a digital note. Digital Notes is an open source annotation system. Digital Notes uses the Annoconda annotation server backend, and everyone is free to extend Digital Notes or create their own implementation. When it comes to annotating web pages, the possibilities are endless - your implementation could allow users to insert notes all over the place.
