The free and command line based MySQL Data Dumper MySQL backup tool comes with a built-in daemon mode for timed snapshots and continuous binary logs. Additionally, you can use MySQL Data Dumper to make consistent snapshots for transactional and non-transactional tables. NOTE: MySQL Data Dumper does not come with support for schema dumping and leaves that to 'mysqldump --no-data'. How to install and run: Unarchive, open a Terminal window, go to MySQL Data Dumper's folder and run the following commands from the command line: cmake . make
