Leafnote is a streamlined Mac OS X application specially designed to help you write, edit and organize notes, projects and plans with ease. User-oriented text editor for everyday use Leafnote comes with a minimalistic interface that enables you to focus on your work and thoughts and keep multiple documents together within a single project, organized in a user-definable document tree. With Leafnote’s help you can manage small, as well as large projects, write down notes, scraps of ideas or entire novels. The best part is that you have the option to create multiple projects and adjust their layout based on your project type. Helps you write, edit, manage and organize a wide variety of projects As follows, Leafnote helps you keep recipe lists, write down travel plans, organize your thoughts, write essays, keep a journal and more. Regardless of the size of your document, you can break it down intro multiple sections that can be rearranged, duplicated or removed. Leafnote allows you to mix up nodes and export them as a single finished document along to a location of your choice. The Edit menu provides access to basic editing tools such as copy, paste and undo, as well as formatting and alignment tools. Export, import items and rearrange their order with ease By accessing the Project menu, you can easily duplicate or add new items, add “Child” item, empty the in-app Trash and remove items. Leafnote is also capable to reload files on startup and autosave your data as you work. Leafnote also helps you to get started with a couple of templates for your essays, holiday plans, journals, recipe books and travel plans. Unfortunately, Leafnote does not feature support for image files and this might prove to be a big disadvantage for users that prefer to attach photos to their journal entries. Also, it would have been useful if Leafnote allowed its users to insert and edit tables, use drawing tools and more. Hopefully, future updates will bring new features and support for multimedia files.
