After quite a bit of investigation and testing, Geek Peak Software has found nearly all of these hidden settings, and built them into a handy application: xMod.Apart from changing hidden settings, xMod also provides an easy way to run certain maintenence scripts, repair permissions, and check for iminent harddrive failures.xMod is a free application that will allow the use to easily modify the Leopard's hidden settings.xMod will help you modify the settings using a simple GUI, allowing you to avoid the command line. What's New in This Release: · I have added two new panels: The iTunes panel (still small) and the Directory panel (very useful). In the FInder panel, there are also new dynamic previews and descriptions, though I will be adding more in the next version.
