cs491project2 Description

The cs491project2 is an open-source, interactive application that shows you the pattern of earthquakes of the last forty years. The data visualized with cs491project2 includes roughly half million worldwide earthquake occurrences ranging from 01/01/10973 to 09/23/2010. The U.S. Geological Survey provided the data and contained information of the date, time of earthquake occurrences, as well as the location, magnitude and depth of earthquakes across the world. The goal of the cs491project2 utility is to design an interactive visual application to help the user investigate the pattern of earthquakes.cs491project2 is cross-platform and it works on Mac OS X, Windows and Linux.
