clipIT is a lightweight AU plug-in that provides the flexibility which will give you just the right sound using a selection of four different clipping types from soft to hard. With just a little drive, clipIT will provide the subtle distortion of analog tape saturation. A little more drive and it sounds like a vintage tube amp straining to push the notes out. Crank up the drive all the way and you have a heavy pre-amp distortion sound. And combined with other plugins like graphic or parametric equalizers, the possibilities are limitless with clipIT.
