WordNet Description

WordNet is a powerful online lexical reference system (it's a dictionary and much much more) developed at Princeton University's Cognitive Science Laboratory under the direction of Professor George A. Miller. Mac OS X version developed by William Taysom. Developed at Princeton University's Cognitive Science Laboratory under the direction of Professor George A. Miller, WordNet is not only an online dictionary but also a lexical reference system. What's New in This Release: · Some changes were made to the graphical interface and WordNet library with regard to adjective and adverb searches. The adjective search "Synonyms/Related Nouns" was relabeled "Synonyms", and, similarly, the adverb search "Synonyms/Stem Adjectives" was relabled "Synonyms". A separate "Related Noun" search was inserted for adjectives, and a separate "Base Adjective" search was added for adverbs.
