Deep geothermal heat is a renewable energy source, which can be produced well in the Netherlands by pumping hot water of 45-120°C from permeable, water bearing aquifers at 1.5 to 4 km depth.TNO developed a public geothermal information tool called ThermoGIS that can easily be used for exploration and policy making.With ThermoGIS anybody can have a glance view at key information of over 10 potential subsurface aquifers.
