SquidPKG Description

SquidPKG is an automatic software deployment script which was inspired by the WPKG program for Windows deployment (http://wpkg.org/).SquidPKG was developed for the University of Washington Department of Environmental and Occupation Health Science IT group to enable us to have WPKG-like functionality on department Apple desktop computers. Currently SquidPKG has only been tested with Mac OS X 10.5 and 10.6, however it should work on all platforms. Detailed instructions on how to install and use the SquidPKG utility on your Mac are available HERE.SquidPKG is a cross-platform utility capable of running on any operating system that comes with Java support (e.g. Mac OS X, Windows, Linux).
