Segminator Description

Segminator is a handy utility that can be used to extract data from reads generated using the 454 Life Science sequencing platform. Segminator can be used to obtain nucleotide and amino acid frequencies as well as generate a consensus across data sets. Multiple parameters can be set through pop up boxes that you can access from the Parameter menu or by selecting a specific data analysis option. Being developed using the Java programming language, Segminator can be run on Mac OS X, Windows and Linux.
