An implementation of ANSI Common Lisp running on Windows, Linux, Mac OS X, FreeBSD and UNIX LispWorks is an implementation of ANSI Common Lisp running on Windows, Linux, Mac OS X, FreeBSD and UNIX.LispWorks is a tool that is source code compatible across all supported platforms.LispWorks offers many features including an advanced Common Lisp compiler, interpreter, runtime system, language extensions and the Common LispWorks IDE. Requirements: · Processor: Intel-based Macintosh, or G3, G4 or G5. · 220MB of disk space for a complete installation of the Professional or Enterprise Edition with documentation · 160MB of disk space for a complete installation of the Personal Edition with documentation · OpenMotif 2.3 (only needed if you want to run the alternate X11/Motif GUI in the Professional or Enterprise Edition) Limitations: · There is a heap size limit which, if exceeded, causes the image to exit. A warning is provided when the limit is approached. · There is a time limit of 5 hours for each session, after which the image is exited. You are warned after 4 hours of use. · The functions save-image, deliver, and load-all-patches are not available. · Initialization files are not loaded. · Layered products that are part of LispWorks Professional and Enterprise Editions (CLIM, KnowledgeWorks, Common SQL and LispWorks ORB) are not included.
