Incremental Description

Incremental is an OS X archiving utility that works in conjunction with CDFinder to create and manage of your file archives.Incremental uses CDFinder for the cataloguing, and Finder Burn Folders or Toast for burning archive discs. Incremental will only work with CDFinder and allows you to produce HTML documents containing information about the operations performed.Usage:· The old archives have to have been created using CDFinder. · Recent files to be archived are placed in a separate folder.· Incremental compares the folder with the CDFinder catalogs and prepares the · for the addition of those files not already archived.Automatic archiving/cataloging.· In Incremental, Toast has to be chosen as the archiving method.· The CDFinder preferences should be set so that the discs written by Toast are automatically cataloged.· Incremental can then be used to decide what has to archived.
