DisableLocal Description

On Apple's OS X Lion, Time Machine will automatically create the /.MobileBackups folder and do Time Machine backups to that directory whenever your Time Machine device is disconnected.Disabling this feature is actually very easy, just run sudo tmutil disablelocal and the feature will be disabled and Time Machine will start deleting all files in /.MobileBackups.DisableLocal is a free and open source shell script created to run the tmutil disablelocal command at every system boot. It ensures that if something turns the feature back on, it'll be automatically disabled again at next boot.
