Cyrillic Linguist Description

Cyrillic Linguist is a keyboard layout that allows you to access the additional set of Cyrillic characters used in Uralic‑altaic non-Slavic languages.Cyrillic Linguist is therefore a Cyrillic QWERTY keyboard layout, reflecting almost identically the zero and first level of Cyrillic QWERTY = Russian Phonetic, but adds characters.Combined diacritical marks at the level option/alt: – 2, – shift-2; – 3, – shift-3; 4 and shift-4, i.e. (using letter o as reference) о́, о̀, ӧ, о̋, о̄, о̆.Dead keys at the level option/alt-A, option/alt–shift-A (Cyrillic А in Russian phonetic too) and option/alt–Y (Cyrillic Ы is there) for accessing the additional Cyrillic characters with diacritics as in Unicode 6.1 (last when this keylayout is being finalized).These are characters for the non-Slavic languages of the former Soviet Union, mainly Uralic and Altaic languages.
