Baton Description

Baton is a free and open source 8-bit gestural sampler for interaction designers. Use the Baton sampler to bring output to life - instead of coding it, tap on the keyboard or use the mouse to generate expressive samples. The Baton program will export an array of values along with sample code to playback on an Arduino board. Your input will be displayed as a waveform, sound or even directly through your serial-attached Arduino device.Export will save a text file to the same folder as the application, with the sample as an array of ints ready to paste into an Arduino sketch. A quicker way is to keep your Console app open; the sample data will be printed there as well.Maximum number of samples is set at 600, which is 40 seconds at the default sample rate of 15/second.
