AntConc Description

AntConc is a free and cross-platform application that enables you to carry out corpus linguistics analysis. AntConc also integrates data‐driven learning through its seven different tools. AntConc includes the following tools: Keyword List - identifies characteristic words in a corpus File View Tool - displays in more detail the results generated in other tools of AntConc Collocates - investigates non‐sequential patterns in language Word List - quickly finds which words are the most frequent in a corpus Clusters - displays clusters based on the search condition Concordance Tool - displays the number of words and phrases that are used in a corpus of texts Concordance Plot Tool - shows the position where search results appear in target texts AntConc is cross-platform and it works on Mac OS X, Windows and Linux.
