Matriux-VM Description

Matriux is an open source security Linux operating system that consists of a bunch of powerful, open source and free tools, which help users will to turn their system(s) into a powerful penetration testing toolkit. Matriux is based on the Debian GNU/Linux operating system, and the software included can be used for various purposes, including, but not limited to, penetration testing, ethical hacking, system and network administration, cyber forensics investigations, vulnerability analysis, security testing, etc. The original Matriux Linux operating is distributed as a single Live DVD image, supporting both 32-bit and 64-bit architectures, that can be easily installed into a local hard drive. Matriux-VM is distributed as a virtual machine file archived using the 7zip (7z) format.
