MeNoTu Description

MeNoTu is an open source Linux operating system, a Live DVD dedicated to Computer Aided Engineering (CAE) and Scientific Computing. MeNoTu is bssed on the Ubuntu 12.04 LTS (Precise Pangolin) operating system, and features a full software solution for professional 3D FE analysis from CAD geometry. Among the included applications, we can mention GNU Octave, Scilab, OpenFOAM 1.6-ext, OpenFOAM 2.2.1, OpenFOAM 2.2.2 CFD solvers, Elipse IDE, and much more. MeNoTu is distributed as a single Live DVD ISO image, supporting only the 64-bit architecture. It can be used directly from the Live media or installed locally on a hard disk drive.
