baretorrent is a free and graphical BitTorrent client written in GTK+ for the Linux operating system. It is based on the libtorrent-rasterbar library and extendable through plugins. baretorrent is a very good and totally free alternative to the current trend of feature-packed BitTorrent applications, such as Vuze, Deluge or Transmission. At the moment, the baretorrent project contains only one extension, which allows users to add torrents straight from a web browser. baretorrent is a platform-independent application that supports GNU/Linux, Microsoft Windows and Apple Mac OS X operating systems. It works well with both 64-bit and 32-bit architectures.
