DKPro Core Description

DKPro Core is an open source software written in the Java programming language and designed as a collection of applications for natural language processing (NLP). Among some of the functionality provided by DKPro Core's components, we can mention tokenization, segmentation, compound splitting, stemming, lemmatization, part-of-speech tagging, morphological analysis, syntactic parsing, dependency parsing, coreference resolution, language identification, spelling correction, and grammar checking. Being based on the Apache UIMA framework, DKPro Core the project was originally developed by Ubiquitous Knowledge Processing Lab (UKP) at the Technische Universität Darmstadt, Germany. DKPro Core is distributed as separate editions, DKPro Core GPL and DKPro Core ASL, licensed under GPLv3 and Apache Software License. Each edition contains a different feature set.
