RubySlippers is a GUI frontend to the RubyGems package management system. RubySlippers is a GUI frontend to the RubyGems package management system. It can view gemspec files, install gems, list installed files, query the RubyGems list, build Gems, and view documentation.This program uses the RubyWebDialogs GUI, and is built on the rwdtinker framework, so more applets can be loaded and unloaded. Context sensitive help is included.InstallationUsing the "Install Gem" tabYou can list the Gems available in the repositoryClick on the button. It will take several seconds then should show the list.To install a gem, enter the name into to textbox and click on the install Gem buttonYou should see the result of the command on the screenYou can check in the first tab if it is installed. What's New in This Release: · This release has been updated to rwdtinker version 1.82. · It switches to po files for translation files, adds the beginning of a Hindi po file, adds more Japanese strings, changes handling of lang change = in the tinkerwin2variables.cnf, refactors init.rb to move routines into lib/rwdtinker modules, condenses config files from 5 to 3, fixes a document launch bug, adds $KCODE = 'u', and moves help files to the rwd_files directory.
