DOM Event Spy extension for DOM Inspector Event Spy Too is a fork of the Event Spy extension, written by Brian Ryner and maintained by Jason Spiro, which was broken by Gecko 1.9.2 (Firefox 3.6). I have revamped it to work with Firefox 4.Here is the description from Event Spy:Event Spy adds a context menu item to nodes in DOM Inspector's tree view that allows you to watch events that pass by the selected node. Event Spy provides output similar to that of Firebug's Log Events feature. But Event Spy does a little more: it lets you choose the specific events you want to watch.To open Event Spy: First, install the DOM Inspector extension. Next, open DOM Inspector, right-click any node, then choose the "Watch events..." option.Changes for Event Spy Too:-- supports only Firefox 4.0 - 4.0.*, SeaMonkey 2.0 - 2.1.* and Thunderbird 3.0b3 - 3.1.*-- support for deprecated mutation events removed-- pin button added to Watch Events dialog, to keep that window on topIf there is any interest in this, I may develop it further.
