DbXpert for Oracle - Instance Performance provides generalized key performance indicators (KPI) for the instance to which you are connected. to which you are connected. It provides a look at database resources, instance service time, recent activities, top session, session History, top sql and instance throughput. Database administrators can easily monitor the health of various components in the monitoring instance. Application developers can also make use of this tool to diagnose and correct application performance problem. Instance Performance is now bundled with dbXpert for Oracle. The instance performance page provide an overall performance of the instances including the memory hit ratio, instance throughput, In-Oracle service time breakdown, user-configurable KPI. Database administrator and developer can have a Dashboard view of the database performance to ensure the monitoring instance is performed in the most optimized way. The In-Oracle server time is breakdown into different classes for easy reading, this classes are based on the event classes grouping introduced in Oracle 10g. However, this classification can also be applied to Oracle 8, Oracle 8i and Oracle 9i. The current session page will display the most resource consuming sessions. The sessions can be sorted by their In-Oracle service time. When the problematic session is pinpointed, its Details resource consumption summary will be shown at the lower part of the page such as : Overall In-Oracle service time breakdown.
