This map locator can be used to give your visitors where something is located. this something could be service locations you provide, locations of the branches of your business, the locations of stores if your business is a chain of stores etc. Real estate and travel sites are some other websites that could use this map locator quite usefully. Instead of trying to create maps from grounds up, this is a quick way of integrated map information into your site quickly and easily. Lot of additional information can be displayed when a particular point is clicked. For example, on clicking a branch location, you could provide all the information about address, contact phone numbers etc. While you can use the map as is, it is highly customizable. You can change the whole look of the map, its color, captions or links.
