World Daylight Alarm Clock Description

World Daylight Alarm Clock is a gadget developed for the Google Desktop platform that allows you to view the current time on your desktop. It also integrates an alarm function. The lightweight app comes with a small frame where, by default you can view a map version of the clock. In other words, you can view the current time in digital mode, as well as get a perspective of the worldwide locations where it's daytime. By opening the right-click menu, you can configure some settings. Thus, you can switch to the digital clock display mode (this frame version displays the current day and date, besides the local time). Moreover, you can toggle between the 12-hour and 24-hour time mode, zoom in and out, as well as undock the frame from the sidebar, in order to place it on any spot of the screen. Additional settings provided by the Google Desktop allow World Daylight Alarm Clock to stay on top of other windows. From the small 'Options' screen, you can enter a city name in order to check it out on the map, as well as schedule an alarm and select a sound file from the computer to be used as a ringer. World Daylight Alarm Clock does not put a strain on the computer's resources, as it uses a low amount of CPU and system memory. It has a good response time and hasn't caused us any issues throughout our testing. All in all, World Daylight Alarm Clock is a nice alternative to the Windows default clock, since it packs extra customization preferences suitable for users of any level of experience. No recent updates have been made.
