Windows Credentials Description

Pidgin usually stores passwords as plaintext. Windows Credentials is a plugin designed to instead save all passwords using the Windows API functions CredRead and CredWrite, which some would argue is a more secure form of password storage. Installation: Unzip and extract pidgin-wincred.dll to the .purple/plugins directory (under AppData).
