This highly-sophisticated musical arrangement and rendition software, created by one of the few active arrangers for musical boxes remaining in the world today, attempts to recreate the sound and feel of a real, antique disc musical box. It is modeled after a 15 1/2" Regina Disc Musical Box with short bedplate and double combs of 76 tines. "Valentine Music Box" is a computer program which can convert standard midifiles of any style into simulated music box performances, by rearranging the tune and applying sampled music box sound.
