Vito AudioNotes is a voice-recording and playback application designed for Windows 5.0 Smart Mobiles. The program allows users to record notes in MP3 and WAV formats. Apart from recording voice notes, lectures, interviews, negotiations and anything else that you would like to record, this smart application can also record telephone calls. With Vito AudioNotes installed on your Smart phone, managing notes become very convenient. Users can play, append recordings, rename audio files, change files location, delete recordings and even send them via MMS or email. Two useful features of Vito AudioNotes that deserve a mention here are the Microphone gain function and the VAS (Voice Activated System). While Microphone gain is very useful for increasing the sensitivity of the microphone when you are far away from the source of the sound, the Voice Activated System allows you to record only those sounds that exceed the set VAS level. When the loudness is not good enough recording automatically stops. The attractive display ensures that you know exactly what or how the application is functioning. Amongst the few limitations of this software is the fact that, although it offers an “offline activation mode”, the process is slightly complex, takes considerable time and hence “online activation” is strongly recommended. Also, the software does not work on Pocket PC’s due to the OS and hardware restrictions.
