Trbls Description

The name Trbls stands for Time Run Blast Search. Trbls was developed to partially automate blast searches of sequences against the NCBI databases. The goal is to allow a user to select a series of sequences, then do blast comparisons either immediately or at a preset weekly time. For example, your favorite sequences might be run every 3 AM on Tuesdays, and then reports are ready when you check the computer the next morning. Trbls is a simple front-end utility that relies almost entirely on the programs developed at NCBI for the important functionality.
