TEAK Description

TEAK stands for Topology Enrichment Analysis frameworK, an intuitive application that includes two components: TEAK and QSEA. Based on user-selected molecular profiling data, TEAK can determine the biologically activated subpathways, while the QSEA (Query Structure Enrichment Analysis) module is designed to perform hierarchical querying of the found pathways. TEAK provides support for multiple organisms (human, mouse, rat, thale cress, nematode, fruit fly), but additional organisms can be added from within the application. It uses different gene labeling schemes from KEGG, NCBI GeneID, NCBI GI, and UniProt.
