SpEd Professional, U the U SQL Stored Procedure Editor with Repository + Preprocessor Description

Features in All Versions: Hit F7 to execute the highlighted source code or the entire source window contents. Browse windows to show a result set in an Excel-like grid. Full coloring in output windows to distinguish between output from print statements, result rows, result headings, and error returns. All coloring can be fully customized to meet your requirements. Function keys allow you to quickly move the cursor to the next or previous error shown in the output pane. Dictionary bar with information from the SQL server's dictionary (tables, columns, datatypes, indexes and procedures). Commands for generating the most common SQL statements based on dictionary information. SpEd Professional and SpEd SQL+: Preprocessor functionality similar to that found in C/C++ language (#include, #define, #ifdef etc). Standard include files can be defined at the repository level as project standards. SpEd Professional Only: Source repository stored in a separate database, which can be on a separate server. Handles most kinds of SQL source objects: stored procedures, triggers and scripts. Version control; all source versions are kept in the repository. Check out and check in is managed through a separate connection based on the user's database login. Storing and updating of dictionary information is accomplished using stored procedures, which you can customize to add extra checking or other features. Triggers (again customizable) can log all activity on source objects. Both parameters (input to procedures) and result sets (output from procedures) can be defined in the dictionary, and are searchable. SpEd can generate PowerBuilder non-visual objects to access the stored procedures. The dictionary also stores other structured information about each source object: name, version, database version, search keys, description, last changed by, created by, requested by, responsible programmer. Functions to fast compile multiple procedures into a database, or extract source to files, with advanced predefined search criteria or a user-defined customized select from the dictionary. Export / Import functions (with extensive version control) for moving/copying source objects between repositories on different servers, for example between laptops and central development servers. All versions come with one year of upgrades free! Select: SpEd Professional for full functionality including Repository and Preprocessor SpEd SQL+ for SQL execution plus Preprocessor SpEd Lite for SQL execution only Platforms supported: Windows 95, Windows NT, Windows 2000, Windows 98, Windows ME Benefits of registration: This fast, reliable program is the ideal tool for executing SQL queries against Sybase and MSSQL servers. It's a pleasure to use, with its syntax coloring and dictionary bar for easy access to database structure information. The repository gives you great control over your SQL source; no more searching through folders for that procedure or trigger script.
