Secure Folder Hider is an easy to use software solution that can be used to completely hide and protect sensitive files on your computer. Although you may be tempted to believe that Secure Folder Hider requires advanced computer knowledge, it doesn't, and the GUI is the living proof that this app is aimed at all user categories. You can add as many folders as you want, as all of them are displayed in the main window alongside their status that toggles between hidden and visible. This status can be easily controlled straight from the main window, but for more options you're highly recommended to have a look in the configuration screen. There are two stealth mode options to prevent unwanted access, but also password settings to block others from opening the app. Hotkeys are available too, allowing you to leave stealth mode, hide or show all folders in a second. Secure Folder Hider completely hides a selected folder and this indeed comes in very handy because the content becomes inaccessible until you switch its visibility status back to normal. What's more, the program runs quite fine on all Windows versions and it doesn't require special administrator privileges. In addition, only a small CPU usage was experienced during our testing, so it has just a minimal impact on the overall stability of the system.
