SQL Documentation Tool Description

The SQL Documentation Tool creates technical documentation for Microsoft SQL Server 7.0 and 2000 databases. Technical documentation is created in HTML, HTML Help, RTF and Plain Text formats. The HTML Help format documentation is fully searchable and cross referenced. The SQL Documentation Tool documents SQL Server Tables, Views, Stored Procedures, Triggers, Table Relationships, Dependencies Full-Text Catalogs, Jobs and DTS Packages. A free trial version is available. Reports are created in a number of formats: Standard HTML Microsoft's HTML Help RTF (Word compatible document) Text Standard HTML The HTML report is created using standard HTML and may be viewed in any web browser . Microsoft's HTML Help HTML Help is the standard file format used by most Windows applications to present their help documentation NEW: Error handling is Now working as intended. Multiple triggers within a table are now being correctly documented. Added a Check for Updates menu command to the GUI (not visible in the evaluation version). Decreased Font Size in RTF report to 10 point. Added a new project option: "Include MS_Description in RTF". If checked then the RTF report incorporates the table, view, stored procedure and function descriptions from the databases that have been documented. RTF report now indicates if the database does not contain any stored procedures or functions. Fixed a minor issue with the progress bar which was affecting the documentation of empty databases. Improved the extraction of Function descriptions from SQL Server 2005's MS_Description fields
