Profile Picker Description

The Profile Picker application was developed to be a small tool that allows you to use multiple configurations with any program. Most programs need to keep user preferences that can be loaded the next time the program is started. For example, Netscape Navigator, by default, starts up at the Netscape Web page. But you might like to start up at some other page. Netscape stores your preference in a configuration file, ending in the extension .INI (specifically, netscape.ini). But what if several people use the same computer, and each has a different start-up page? That creates a problem, because only one netscape.ini can be present in the Windows directory at a time. Profile helps you solve this problem. NOTE: Registration for non-profit and personal use is free. Commercial usage requires payment of a small fee.
