MP3 to iPod Audio Book Converter is a very straightforward application which enables you to encode MP3 files to the M4B format, for iPods. The interface of the tool consists of a standard window in which you can import audio tracks by using either the file browser or the "drag and drop" method. Batch processing is allowed. So, you can specify the output destination and initiate the conversion process. But you can also move items up and down in the list, convert all files into a single one (i.e. merging), remove tracks from the queue and clear the list. Furthermore, you can edit ID3 tags (e.g. artist, writer, title, year, comment, disc number), but this option only works if you merge the MP3 files. During the conversion process you can check out a progress bar, elapsed and remaining time, as well as the estimated output file size. The audio converter runs on a moderate amount of system resources and quickly finishes a task without freezing, crashing or popping up errors. The sound quality of the output tracks is maintained at a very good level. There is no help file available. However, MP3 to iPod Audio Book Converter doesn't let you specify an output name. All in all, the software doesn't offer a lot of options, but it comes with the necessary equipment for audio conversion. We strongly recommend it to all users.
