Keyboard Training Description

Keyboard Training is a lightweight Windows application built specifically for helping you practice and improve your typing skills. The utility allows you to take some tests where you have to press the corresponding key. Since this is a portable program, it is important to mention that it doesn’t leave any traces in the Windows Registry. You can copy it on any USB flash drive or other devices, and take it with you whenever you to need to train your typing skills, without having to go through installation steps. Keyboard Training sports a clean and simplistic layout that allows you to set up the dedicated parameters with minimum effort. The program provides details about the time taken to complete the test, top score, and current score, and lets you choose the difficulty level (easy, medium, hard, impossible). What’s more, you can check the statistics pane for detailed information about the entire process, such as total number of played games, total and average time, total pressed keys, right and wrong keys, and others. When it comes to configuration settings, you are allowed to pick the keyboard layout (Qwerty or Azerty), enable or disable sound effects, as well as change the colors for several buttons. During our testing we have noticed that Keyboard Training carries out a task quickly, and no errors showed up throughout the entire process. As it would be expected from such a small utility, it remains light on system resources, so it doesn’t burden the overall performance of the computer, nor interfere with other programs’ functionality. All in all, Keyboard Training offers a simple software solution for helping you improve your typing skills, and is suitable for all types of users, regardless of their experience level.
