KFlex Description

KFlex is designed as an easy-to-use and useful Java-based extension to JFlex. The KFlex tool makes it easy to generate lexers whose actions call methods of a listener interface. By moving application code out of the lexical specification and into the listener implementation, the lexer becomes a reusable drop-in component for any number of applications that might want to parse the same data format. This also simplifies development because you no longer need to regenerate the lexer after every little change to your action code.
