An Excel spreadsheet is designed to accurately forecast job cost estimates for labor by square foot or by hour. It features a complete listing of materials for the job and other direct costs. An overhead factor is added so that the true cost of the job is determined. Then the estimator adds a profit. Actual costs can be tracked and placed side by side with the estimate.
