Integrated Keyboarding Description

KeyBoarding today is neither efficient nor rational. The hand has to move to at least SIX different Locations to perform all of the tasks needed for typing and navigating the screen. The six positions are: 1. The typing position (Middle row, index fingers on F and J.) 2. The Arrow keys (four arrow keys to the right of the letter keyboard). 3. The various Control keys (Home, End, Delete) above the Arrow keys. 4. The number keypad. 5. The mouse. 6. The mouse wheel. The existent layout causes tremendous waste of energy, both physical and mental. The constant moving of the right hand is physically tiresome, even when the correct location is located. It is mentally tiresome and distracts from the actual goals at hand. It is inefficient in that it causes mistakes. It is difficult to learn. Finally, it is unfair to left handed typists, and to people with certain physical handicaps including Carpal Tunnel Syndrome. It is a patchwork that evolved piecemeal, not by design. Integrated Keyboarding allows the keyboarder to do all of these tasks WITHOUT moving the hands - only the fingers. With the same set of fingering, and without moving the hands, the keyboarder can do the following with the middle three fingers: 1. move the mouse; 2. drag the mouse; 3. delete; 4. perform all of the cursor shortcuts of the Arrow keys; 5. Highlight or "paint" any set of words, lines, paragraphs or pages; 6. scroll inside a window or browser; and 7. type all of the numbers. Integrated Keyboarding is efficient, rational, easy to learn, ambidextrous, intuitive, and easy to download.
