ISO Workshop Description

video prev next ISO image files allow you to create perfect backups and one-to-one copies of discs regardless of the folder structure and the files contained in them. ISO Workshop offers a free solution to all your ISO-related needs, including the option to create new ISO images, convert them between ISO and BIN, and burn them to any type of blank disc, including Blu-ray discs. This useful tool is completely free for personal use, as advertised on the program’s official website. If you wish or need to use it in a commercial or for-profit environment, you’re kindly asked to purchase a so-called “Professional edition” license. In terms of functionality, though, there is no difference between both editions. The program’s clean interface is neatly divided into six main operations – Make ISO, Burn ISO, Convert ISO, Extract Files, Backup Disc, and Copy Disc. To make a new ISO image all you need to do is select the files and folders that you want the image to include – the program will create an exact replica of those files and their folder structure so that you can have a perfect clone of those files for future use. Burn ISO will let you copy to a blank disc (CD, DVD, or BD) the exact contents of the ISO image, while Convert ISO will transform any ISO file into a BIN image (or vice versa) without performing any change in its original content. Extract Files will let you select any file or set of files from an ISO image and extract them without damaging the original image (after all, an ISO file is just another archive file format, very much like a ZIP container). Finally, Backup Disc and Copy Disc will use a CD, DVD, or Blu-ray disc as input and will clone its contents to create a new ISO image for archival or duplication purposes (just like Make ISO) or to produce a one-to-one exact copy of the source disc, respectively. ISO Workshop is both simple and efficient – a free utility worth downloading and having installed on your system to create backup archives or to make exact copies of data or media discs.
