IRC-API Description

IRC-API was developed as an Open Source, stateful, asynchronous IRC API that's been written in Java. The API offers an (a)synchronous programming model to its user, and has the ability to save the IRC server state per IRC connection. SSL is now supported by IRC-API. The API has been tested on various IRC networks, i.e. EFnet, DALnet, Undernet, and offers a useful, detailed interface to the Server it connects to.
