IP and MAC Logger is a straightforward piece of software that enables you to scan the network for IP and MAC addresses. It comes packed with just a few configuration settings that can be easily set up, even by users with no prior experience in this type of tools. The installation operation is quick and simple. The app's interface is standard and does not contain striking visual elements. All options are well organized in the main frame. So, all you have to do is establish the IP range, interval for running checkups (in milliseconds), the packet size (in bytes) and timeout (in milliseconds), together with the logging order (downwards or upwards), and language (English or Turkish). Furthermore, IP and MAC Logger can be set to automatically run at system startup. All activity is recorded to log files, which are created in the app's installation directory. Unfortunately, it is not possible to alter this location. However, you can directly open it from the primary window with the click of a button. The program leaves minimal footprint on computer performance, as it runs on low CPU and RAM. It has a good response time and works smoothly, without causing the OS to hang, crash or pop up error messages. We have not come across any kind of problems in our tests. When it comes down to it, IP and MAC Logger offers a pretty simple solution to monitoring IP and MAC addresses in your network, and it can be used by anyone.
