GroupDocs' document assembly package for Umbraco allows you to automate document creation process by merging your existing document templates with data collected through online forms on your website. It is a convenient approach for generating standard documents where most of the information remains identical, except some user-entered details. Examples of such documents could be: various applications, event registrations, invoices, quotes and even contracts. Here is how it works: After installing the plugin you will be able to upload Word and PDF document templates to your GroupDocs account. Once a template is uploaded, you can add form fields to it (such as Name, Date, Address, etc.), and design an online questionnaire associated with the form. Then you can publish the questionnaire on your website and invite users to complete it. Once a user completes the questionnaire, GroupDocs will automatically incorporate its data into the associated template and save it as a new custom filled document. This document generation method will save time and allow you to concentrate your efforts on more urgent tasks, rather than manually copy-pasting user data for each individual document.
