Games Folder Description

This games management utility aims to make PC gaming fast and straightforward. At its most basic level, it launches games, but it can also log statistics, improve performance, query multiplayer servers and much more. Feature List: Automatically searches for games and can find the majority of the ones it supports It supports over 400 games, demos and mods It is fully customisable It offers extensive statistics logging, including the last time a game was run, how long it was run for, etc. It can improve game performance by running games at higher priority or closing all visible applications automatically (optional). It can query multiplayer game servers It can send out challenges to local machines. This invites the player to a LAN game. Games Folder searches for the server and connects automatically when the server comes online. No more hitting the "refresh" button constantly. The aim with GF was to make it as simple as possible to start a game (as opposed to searching through the start menu or loads of desktop icons), so it adds shortcuts to the five last run games in your Quick Launch bar for easy access (you can switch this off), and you can launch games quickly from the taskbar utility. What's new in this version: Massive improvement in search efficiency. Faster loading times Massive improvements to querying code Server blacklisting support has been added. You can blacklist a server that you have been banned from or had a bad experience on so that Games Folder will never query it again. 50 new games and 2 mods added.
